We hope that you enjoy your stay in our home. In Crystal River
there are many things to do. We would love for you to experience
a little bit of everything during your stay, but most
importantly have some R& R. Listed are a few things you may to
need to know about the Chart House to make your stay as comfortable
and pleasant as possible.
Location: Crystal River, Florida
Central West, Florida, USA (1.5 Hours from Tampa & Orlando)
Accommodations: Welcome to The Chart House! This stunning two
story waterfront home is located on a deep water canal in
Crystal River with direct Gulf access, no bridges. The home is
separated into two completely separate luxury units;
The Bimini Suite (Upstairs) & The
Key West Suite (Downstairs). This listing
is for The Bimini Suite. The
Bimini Suite has 3 bedrooms (two Master
bedrooms with full baths) there are 3 full baths in total. The
Bimini Suite will sleep 6-8 people. It
is approximately 10 minutes from King’s Bay and 20 minutes from
the Gulf of Mexico by boat. The
Bimini
Suite has it own private dock, a fish cleaning area by the
water, and an optional 12,000-pound boatlift. The suite features
2,400 square feet of living space upstairs and was completely
renovated in June 2009. It contains only brand new, high-quality
furniture including Sealy Posturepedic® mattresses and Broyhill®
furniture. There is a great room, stone-gas fireplace, and a
sleeper sofa. The suite also offers an open, eat-in kitchen with
all of the amenities. The master suite has a California king
bed, a private bath, and a two-story wood deck offering a
magnificent water view. T
The
Key West Suite is
a one-bedroom, one-bathroom Key West suite that will sleep 2-4
people. There is 1,100 square feet of living space. The unit
also offers a full kitchen with all of the amenities. The
bedroom features a king bed, and there are two futons. There is
a separate screened-in patio offering a magnificent water view.
The suite was completely renovated in June 2009. It contains
only brand new, high-quality furniture including Sealy
Posturepedic® mattresses and Broyhill® furniture.
Here in Crystal River, there are plenty of things to see and do
including camping, Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, scuba
diving, and swimming with the manatees. Plan a day trip to any
of the nine state parks within 50 miles or work on your back
swing at one of the 12 nearby golf courses. It is located
approximately 10 minutes from Kings Bay, and 20 minutes to the
Gulf Of Mexico by boat.

Only minutes from diving with the
manatees or fishing in the Gulf of Mexico for redfish,
grouper or other seafood delicacies.
Crystal River is famous for its
manatee watching, diving, fishing trips, world class golfing and
many more activities. You are approximately 30-45 minutes to
Cedar Key, 1-1/2 hours to Disney World in Orlando or Busch
Gardens in Tampa. The nearest international airport is Tampa
International only 1 1/2 hours drive, and Orlando International
airport is also 1 1/2 hours away.

Places to See:
The State Archeological Park is just down our street and to the
Left. The State Buffer preserve is a little further down the
street at the end. It is a nice walk for yourselves and with
your dog to Mullet Hole. Homosassa is not very far. They have a
wonderful facility called Homosassa Springs.
Shopping:
There is a few quaint little shops downtown off of 19 and the
Crystal River Mall is just up the street on 19.
Beach:
There is a Public Beach at the end of Fort Island Trail. Take 19
S. towards the Plantation Hotel & Golf Course. Turn R of Fort
Island Trail, the Plantation will be on your right. Go to the
very end of this street and the beach will be on your left. It
is about 8-10 miles or so.

Dining:
There are numerous places in Crystal River to go locally. We
have also ventured to the outskirts of the area and have found
some nice places on the water that you can visit during the day
for lunch, or early dinner.

Crackers-
(Seafood) –nice, very casual dining. Park on the left side
of the building and go out back to the Teakie Hut. Close to
house on 19.

Charlie’s-
(Seafood)- nice, very casual dining. ***Charlie’s also has
a seafood market that is really nice if you feel like
cooking and staying in. Close to house, next to Cracker’s on
19

Cody’s-
(Steaks & Seafood)- nice, very casual dining. A little
further on 19 South Left hand side.

Wine &
Cheese-
( Seafood-Steaks)- nice, casual dining. A little further on
19 South, Right hand side- in shopping strip mall.

Margarita Grill-
(Tex-mex,- Seafood- etc ) live music, great Margaritas- A
little bit of a drive but worth it. Take 19 to Ozello Trail-
on Left hand side

Krump’s-
( Seafood- on the water) Great for lunch or early dinner. A
little bit of a drive as well, but worth it. Take 19 to
Ozello Trail into Homosassa follow signs for restaurant.
